2024 Impact
In the past year alone, together we’ve offset over 450 tonnes of carbon – that’s roughly equivalent to the emissions from driving a car over 2 million kilometres (enough to circle the Earth 50 times).

Lifetime Impact
Since 2017, we’ve offset over 8,000 tonnes of carbon. That’s equal to taking almost 2,000 cars off the road for one year.

Thanks to your generosity, these offsets help grow forests, restore ecosystems, improve biodiversity and fight climate change – one tree at a time.

Project Spotlight: Barolin Nature Reserve, Bundaberg

A Win for Community, Environment & Turtles
Since 2017, Greenfleet and Bundaberg Regional Council have partnered to plant 85,500 native trees across 86 hectares of Barolin Nature Reserve – the region’s largest reforestation project to date.

Located on land traditionally owned by the Gooreng Gooreng people, this forest not only captures carbon and restores native habitat, but also supports local jobs and tourism.

Importantly, the site borders Mon Repos Conservation Park – home to the largest nesting population of loggerhead and green turtles on the east coast of Australia. The trees provide a “natural curtain” helping to reduce artificial light on beaches, improving hatchling survival for these endangered species.

Fully funded by Greenfleet’s carbon offset program and its supporters, the project is expected to offset over 50,000 tonnes of CO² over 30 years.

Greenfleet continues to maintain the site and plans further plantings, demonstrating how carbon offset donations make a real, lasting impact for both the environment and local communities.
